Grove Park & Hay Lane Special Schools - Post 16 Building

Client: London Borough of Brent

Architect: Sampson Associates / TPA Studio

Value: £2.5 Million

This 1000 m2 building was designed to cater for the sixth form of two special needs schools. Together with standard Doc M sanitaryware installations, ceiling track / lift systems were installed in all the teaching areas. The modern design of the structure included a steel and glulam beam frame with an inverted curved roof, Technal aluminium glazed curtain walling with cedar cladding panels and a green sedum grass roof covering.
