CIRUS were awarded the contract to construct a new main reception building on a design and build basis. The school required a modern building to be a feature of the school to welcome visitors, be a main entrance for the pupils and accommodate offices for the staff.

The steel framed structure incorporated a mezzanine floor with Optima Revolution 97 partitions overlooking a full height reception and waiting area. To gain the maximum amount of light specialist planar double glazing was installed to the front façade, including glass entrance doors with automation. To prevent heat gain through the façade a solar coating was applied to the glass and Brie Soleil was fitted above. To highlight the feature of the full glazed façade the design included colour change LED uplighters.
